USAEC
Umunwaku Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Centre (USAEC)
stands as a beacon of hope and resilience in the face of
challenges posed by financial inequality in our community. It
was established with a bold vision to confront these challenges
head-on by providing comprehensive vocational training and
empowerment opportunities.
USAEC is a project of the African Primary Healthcare Foundation
in collaboration with the Peter N Obi Foundation, reflecting a
commitment to holistic community development.
Our vision is a world where the destructive tide of gentrification
is turned into an opportunity for growth and empowerment. We
envision vibrant, resilient neighborhoods where every youth,
regardless of background, is equipped with the skills,
knowledge, and confidence to shape their own futures.
Through innovative skill development and empowerment
programs, we strive to uplift and amplify the voices of our youth,
cultivating a generation of changemakers who lead the charge in
building inclusive, thriving communities. Together, we're
harnessing its potential to create a brighter, more equitable
tomorrow for all
We are committed to confronting the negative impact of gentrification, one community at a time
